The main mission of the World 21 Foundation appears in the statutory documents:
Maintenance of interactive communications and education system for sustainable development, education for democracy, respect, peace and human dignity, knowledge and skills exchange and international cooperation.
World 21 Foundation has been created for setting up the terminals of a network, which broadcast information, development, skills and knowledge to any corner of the planet that may be in need of these values. Connecting that point with other places, where information and knowledge are generated, such as universities, social or educative televisions, NGOs, educational institutions, researching and analysis centres, agencies for international cooperation, etc.
Disseminating information is the finest non-tangible value of human being.
It’s a network with specific goals: poverty eradication, human and social development, values exchanges, respect and boosting cultural diversity, thanks to access to knowledge from regions of the planet that may be in need of it.
Development of Technologies Information allows an interactive follow-up from any corner of the planet of literacy programmes, micro-credits, telemedicine, videoconference, culture, music, educational television, agricultural assistance, fair trade, social and environmental development, etc.
It’s not just a computer connected to internet. The development of information technologies allow users the interactive follow-up of literacy programmes, micro-credits, telemedicine, videoconference, music, social and environmental development, etc. In the course of time, World 21 network will become a key centre of reference, which is guaranteed by our own Code of Ethics (PDF) and is in line with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that was adopted and proclaimed by Resolution 217 A of General Assembly (iii) on 10 December 1948.
World 21 Foundation offers its structure to those institutions and persons, who dedicate their resources for education based on self-esteem, respect, diversity, cooperation and sustainable development.
